Gill aka PaisleyX aka Ingo was born in Zimbabwe. In this highly unlikely setting Gill was fascinated and obsessed in Clowns, Mask Work and the Performance Arts from her first memories as a very young girl and this passion has never left her.

Completely self taught Gill began clowning as Ingo the Clown almost 20 years ago.  After a few years she left Africa to live in Paris, France for four years where she attended Jacque Le Coq Theatre School and Annie Fratallini Circus School.  Gill also attended the City Literature Institute in London for 3 months where she studied Mime, Mask-work and Movement.

Living a nomadic life Gill became professional as an entertainer for all ages with Ingo the Clown - performing at festivals, private parties, cabarets and variety shows.  About 6 years ago Gill began artist and photographic modelling and incorporated her mask work and performance skills with the modelling.  It was through this stylised type of performance modelling that Gill developed the alter ego of PaisleyX.

By combining Theatre, Circus and Erotica together Gill has found herself creating shows that can only be classed as ‘New Burlesque’ and ‘Bizarre Cabaret’ shows.

In 2007 Gill flew to Brighton for the festival and through a comedy of errors found herself performing an impromptu show, ‘TuTuTo Nude’ - (a striptease to stiletto boots whilst riding her 6 foot unicycle), for a large audience in the Udderbelly.  To her complete surprise Gill received a standing ovation for this show.  Gill has recently immigrated permanently to the UK and is pursuing her career as a clown,  art/photographic model and  New Burlesque Performance Artiste.
